Fridley & Blaine MN Get Smoked by Hail Stones

 

Our team of HAAG Certified Inspectors have been helping property owners in the NE Metro area determine the amount of damage their homes have accrued from June 29th 2015 Hail Storm. The hail storm was estimated to affect 100,000 homes in the Fridley – Blaine area.

Fridley and Blaine residents experience a large amount of hail fall, with stones reaching up to 2″ in diameter. The hail storm lasted for approximiately 5 minutes with wind velocity reaching up to 55mph. Hail stones this size and carrying that much speed can leave major damage to vehicles, homes, and other property. (Video Below)

Hail Damaged Roof? What Should You Do If It Is?

If you’re unsure if your home has been damaged. Here are a few tips to make sure you’re getting the proper service from your contractor.

1. Make sure the roofing contractor is licensed in the state of Minnesota. They should be able to prove this on the spot or send documentation.

2. Make sure the roofing contractor has been in business for more than 10 years, and serving the Minnesota area.

3. Make sure to check the Better Business Bureau to see how the company stacks up.
