Summer storm produces hail damage in Mound MN.

This storm originated above Lake Minnetonka and produced several wall clouds and funnel clouds as it moved through to Anoka. The National  weather service issued a tornado warning that lasted through 8 pm. This is the second major hail storm that has affected the Minneapolis, St. Paul metro area this year. Many cars and buildings have experienced damage as a result of these storms. Luckily most Minnesota residents carry insurance that covers hail damage to their property including roofing, siding, gutters, windows and cars. If your area was affected by a hail storm make sure to contact your insurance company to have them inspect the potential damage to your property.
