Socktober

For the month of October, Stinson Services is having a sock drive, Socktober. Here at Stinson Services we are dedicated to giving back to the community. With the days being cool and the nights being colder, it’s time we think of those less fortunate and their needs. We are collecting both adult and children’s socks. Socks are needed by those affected by homelessness. Socks keep feet warm and cushioned. Doing double duty, acting as hand warmers. Socks are not an expensive item but they are the most overlooked item.

All socks donated will benefit Simpson Housing Services, a local nonprofit located in Minneapolis, MN. It’s mission is to house, support and advocate for people experiencing homelessness.

Drop off your socks at:

Stinson Services

7391 Bush Lake Road

Edina, MN 55439

We are available to drop socks off between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Will you spare a pair of socks this October?
