Hail Storm Plymouth & Maple Grove Minnesota

A hail storm hit on June 29 2015 in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis. Plymouth & Maple Grove were two of the bigger cities to get struck with hail that could lead to potential home damage.

The June 29 2015 hail storm was one of the largest in the past three years, competing with the hail storm of August 6th 2013. The hail storm hit Plymouth & Maple Grove residents leaving hail stones the size of baseballs in the yard. It’s believe that more than 156,620 properties were hit by this 4 star hail storm. One of our fellow employees came home to these hail stones up in Plymouth, MN.

The storm hit more than 15,000 homes in the area with hail reaching 1.5″-2″ in diameter. Easily big enough to damage vehicles, homes, and other property.

Beware of Storm Chasers

If your home was hit by last nights hail storm be careful. Why? Well, there are storm chasers in town and they show up immediately knocking on every door hoping to gain business. Yes, they will sound like experts, but will they be around if anything goes wrong? No!

So what should you look for?

1. Business License
2. How long have they been in business?
3. Do they have a local address?
4. Do they have Minnesota license plates on their vehicle?
5. Do they have references of other people they have worked with in the area?

These are some simple and direct questions you should ask if you’re at all concerned about the company you’re working with on all home repairs.
