Quarter to Half Dollar Size Hail – Elk River MN
Elk River MN was hit by a hail storm on June 9th 2015. The storm was big enough to hit nearly 6,000 homes in the area. The hail storm in Elk River lasted nearly three minutes and left hail stones sizing from quarters to half dollars and wind up to 55 mph.
